What is the cost of the VIP Package and what does it include?

The cost of the VIP package is $275 USD. This package is available to Frontlines and Male costumes only. The VIP package is included in the cost of the Individual costumes. All persons that purchase the VIP upgrade also receive a complimentary  ticket to the AURA SOS drinks-inclusive cruise.

The VIP package also includes:

  • Lemongrass Express food on the road
  • Exclusive VIP Double Decker music truck, with designated DJs
  • Premium Aura Cocktails
  • Johnnie Walker Gold, Remy Martin XO, Luc Belair Gold Champagne
  • Mobile Back Pack Check

What are the opening hours of the band house?

Our opening hours are Monday – Friday, 5 – 9pm. Saturdays 2 pm – 8 pm.  Hours are subject to change at any time; please visit our social media pages for the latest band house hours.

Where can I view the Aura Experience costumes?

Our costumes can be viewed at the Member’s Lounge at DIVI Southwinds Beach Resort.

What is the down payment amount for my costume?

The amounts for each section vary. Please pay special attention to the information provided with the images on our website.

Downpayments:

Backlines & Males:  30% deposit is required

Frontlines: 25-30% deposit is required

Individuals:  25% deposit is required

ALL costume deposits are non-refundable.

Do you offer group discounts?

We do not provide discounts for our costumes. Should you have a group of 10 or more persons, you can contact us at aurafacropova@gmail.com for additional information.

Do you offer a pre-registration process.

We do not provide a pre-registration process, please stay close to our social media pages for additional information on our registration process.

How do I register to jump with AURA Experience?

Registration can take place in our band house located at Divi Southwinds Beach Resort. Revelers can also sign up on our website, www.aurafacropova.com

I did not get a costume in my desired section. Will you be opening up more costumes?

Unfortunately, once a section is listed as SOLD OUT on our website and social media spaces the section will not be reopened.

I’m unable to collect my costume … Can another person collect on my behalf?

Yes, you must provide that individual with a copy of your ID as well as a letter stating their name and ID number, granting them permission to collect the costume on your behalf. Costumes will not be released to customers without the required documentation.

When do I collect my costume?

The costume distribution schedule will be sent via email and posted on our social media accounts.  Different sections will have different distribution dates.

I missed my collection date – what do I do?

You can collect your costume on any day after your designated date, however priority is given to persons collected on their designated day. The final day of costume collection is Saturday August 3rd.

I don’t arrive until Sunday, will I still be able to collect my costume?

Unfortunately our band house will be closed on Sunday. Saturday is the final day for costume collection. Please contact us should you have any unusual travel arrangements, aurafacropova@gmail.com

How can I pay for my costume?

Payments can be made with cash at the band house. Cheques are not accepted for payment at the band house. Persons that wish to use credit card can may payments online via the third party website, www.carnivalpal.com

I’ve collected my costume but it does not fit.

We are unable to assist with any adjustments to the costumes. It is important that you state your correct sizes at the time of costume registration

What do I get when I come to Costume Distribution?

You will receive your costume bag, an AURA Goodie Bag, your AURA cup and your 2019 security Wristband.  Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband will be removed from the band.

Who are the section owners for 2019?

Our 2019 section owners are Caesar’s Army, One Island Entertainment and Turnt Barbados.

What other events do you have for Crop Over?

AURA’s events for the season include SUNBLOCK Bim with Caesars Army, and AURA SOS our thank you cruise on August 6th.  Join our mailing list to receive regular updates on our events.

What number is Aura Experience on the road?

We will announce our number on the road once received by the National Cultural Foundation. This may change, subject to their instructions; the number is used as a guide for our revelers. All band members are asked to assemble at the stadium for 7.30 am, regardless of band position on the road.

Does AURA offer any hotel or travel packages?

We do not offer any travel packages. The official hotel of Aura Experience is DIVI Southwinds Beach Resort.

Can my friend or relative jump in the band without a costume?

AURA only allows paying revellers to jump in the band.  Non-members may observe from the sidelines outside the band, however they will not be allowed to receive drinks, food or party within our ropes. Any person found in violation of the instructions of our security will be removed from the band, repeated attempts to ignore security and persons will be referred to our police.

Do you sell just wristbands or pants?

No, we are a costume band. All members are asked to review our website and wear the costume as well as their security wristband.

What music is played on the road?

AURA offers a variety of music on the road to appeal to revelers from throughout the Caribbean with two music trucks for your enjoyment.

Where does the band meet?

The starting point is at the Barbados National Stadium.

What time does Kadooment Day begin?

All band members are asked to assemble at the National Stadium for 7.30 am. Breakfast will be served for all band members of Aura Experience. Look for the AURA Experience flags inside the National Stadium.

This is not permitted. Once you hit submit on your payment, your costume order has been placed and sent to our producers. Should you have made a mistake with your order sizing, you can contact us at aurafacropova@gmail.com within 48 hours of having placed your order for assistance.
